Middle School Teams

The 2009 season marked the first year for Cedar Park Middle School lacrosse and was a resounding success.  The T-wolves fielded two 5-6 grade and two 7-8 grade teams in their inaugural season.  Many players were playing their first lacrosse ever while others came to the team with several years experience under their belts.

The 5/6 "Black" team went on to win the Central Texas Youth Lacrosse Assn's 5/6 grade championship - an outstanding accomplishment in their first year playing.  Coach Knight and Coach Riedmueller also took a 5-6 grade team to Park City, UT in June, 2009 (an optional trip).  There the team faced select teams from Utah, Colorado, Idaho and California in a competition that went far to enhance the boys skills for the upcoming year.

Building a tradition of success and development

The middle school teams will feed directly into the high school program which is lead by varsity head coach Chris Knight.   Coach Knight has worked with Texas Lacrosse teams for the past seven years.  This will be his fourth year at the helm of Cedar Park.  He has served as an official referee for both Divisions I and II high school teams and is C.O.C. certified at the college level.

2009 Fall Tournaments:

The club will be sending teams to the Cy-Fair tournament in Houston November 21-22 and the UT tournament in Austin December 5-6.   All interested players are welcome to go to these optional tournaments.   Both tournament waivers are located on the “downloads” tab on the Cedar Park Lacrosse Club website.

League play:

Cedar Park MS Lacrosse teams are members of the Central Texas Youth Lacrosse Association.
The league includes Town & Country,  Lake Travis, Westlake, WAYA, Lake Travis Youth Lacrosse and others.   The season will include eight games.

The Cedar Park Lacrosse Booster Organization is run strictly by volunteers.  It takes numerous volunteers to run the Lacrosse Organization.  Approximately 8-10 volunteers are needed to make every game run smoothly.  There are also other events throughout the year when your help will be greatly appreciated.  Training will be provided for game day positions.  All parents/guardians are needed to make our year a success!

We are pleased to announce that the Cedar Park Lacrosse Club Booster Organization is now classified as a non-profit section 501(c)(3) tax organization.  Any interest in donating to the organization should contact a board member.  If you have any questions about the Cedar Park Lacrosse Club please e-mail:
